Wine, Chocolate and a Few Stars!
The one thing I really do enjoy doing while I am in Los Angeles is seeing bands play at the Hollywood Bowl. There is something magical about listening to your favorite band under the stars. Now the idea of an open amphitheatre is nothing new, they have been around since the Roman Empire, but it is a nice contrast to the concrete jungle that is LA. When I heard the Brazilian band Thievery Corporation was playing, I couldn’t miss the opportunity. My friend Minh had an extra ticket, so I tagged along for what turned out to be a great night. After few bottles of wine, some white chocolate and one or two stars poking their heads through the smog filled sky, it was time to head home.
